The R 8 Arreté is Danish manufacturer Audiovector's flagship floorstanding loudspeaker, a teardrop-shaped, multi-driver design distinguished by its Air Motion Transformer tweeter, rear-firing midrange driver, and a down-firing isobaric bass system combining internal and external woofers (source: [Stereophile](https://www.stereophile.com/content/audiovector-r-8-arret%C3%A9-loudspeaker), [Renaissance Audio](https://www.renaissanceaudio.co.uk/audiovector/p/r-8-arrete)).
