SB-3000 R|Evolution
The SVS SB-3000 R|Evolution is a compact sealed active subwoofer with a front-firing 13-inch high-excursion driver using a flat-edge split-wind voice coil, dual toroidal Y30 ferrite magnets, a rigid 1100 aluminum cone, and a long-throw SBR surround. Its STA-1200D2 amplifier is a Class D design rated at 1,200 watts continuous and over 4,000 watts peak, with discrete MOSFET output stages, a regulated switch-mode power supply, 295 MHz Analog Devices DSP, 56-bit processing, and DACs providing over 120 dB signal-to-noise ratio. Frequency response is specified as 17–230 Hz ±3 dB, with balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs, rear-panel OLED controls, and Bluetooth control through the SVS smartphone app.
