Xtension 9 Evolution
The Pro-Ject Audio Systems Xtension 9 Evolution is a belt-drive turntable with electronic 33/45 rpm speed selection and a precision DC-driven AC generator. It uses a 5.4 kg, 300 mm precision-aluminium platter with an internal TPE damping ring and vinyl top layer, an inverted ceramic-ball main bearing with magnetic support, and three magnetically decoupled feet. It includes a 9-inch one-piece carbon-fibre tonearm with 230 mm effective length, 18 mm overhang, 8.5 g effective mass, and a 0–25 mN tracking-force range; its signal-to-noise ratio is 73 dB and its weight is 16 kg.
