Vinyl Ionizer-001

The DS Audio ION-001 is a mains-powered vinyl ioniser designed to dissipate static charge from records during playback. It uses two pairs of positive- and negative-ion emitters housed in a tall, slightly tapered black tower positioned beside the turntable platter, preferably within 5 cm of the record edge; the emitter slots have adjustable green illumination. The unit continuously discharges accumulating static during vinyl replay and can also treat optical discs by placing them between the emitter slots and platter for approximately ten seconds.
