Serene KTE
The HoloAudio Serene KTE is a fully balanced, resistor-ladder analogue pre-amplifier designed for use with high-end DACs, particularly the HoloAudio May DAC. Its eight amplifier modules use 50 transistors each, with separate buffering and amplification modules; the KTE edition adds a flat-wire O-type transformer, four 5 µF/350 V non-polar AudioNote Kaisei capacitors, a Red nano fuse, and a Kitsune logo. Connectivity includes three RCA and two balanced XLR inputs, two balanced XLR outputs—XLR1 with 3-ohm output impedance and XLR2 with 40 ohms—and a single-ended RCA output.
