Rega
Elex
The Rega Elex MK4 is an integrated stereo amplifier made by Rega, using a Class A/B power amplifier circuit rated at 72 W per channel into 8 Ω and 90 W into 6 Ω. It includes four line-level inputs, a moving-magnet phono stage, a Rega DAC circuit with optical and coaxial digital inputs supporting 32–192 kHz sampling rates and 16–24-bit depth, plus pre-amplifier, record, and headphone outputs. Its construction uses discrete circuitry, high-quality relays, polypropylene and polyester capacitors, Sanken output transistors, galvanically isolated digital and analogue supply rails, and a custom case functioning as a heatsink.
