Solis Ref new
The Rega Solis is a stereo power amplifier designed and hand-built in England by Rega. It uses fully symmetrical discrete circuitry, balanced and unbalanced inputs, a differentially driven common-base voltage amplifier stage, and twelve Sanken 130-watt, 15A multi-emitter output transistors in a triple high-current output stage. Its dual 330VA toroidal transformers and 40,000µF-per-channel Rega K-Power smoothing capacitors deliver 168W RMS per channel into 8Ω and 305W RMS per channel into 4Ω; the signal path uses ICEL polypropylene capacitors, HTR non-inductive resistors, and relays.
