The Rotel CD14MKII is a CD player with a smooth tray-loading mechanism, front-panel controls, graphic display, IR remote control, and support for CDs including MP3s. It uses a Texas Instruments 32-bit/384kHz digital-to-analog converter with independent power supplies for the digital-to-analog conversion, motor controls, and audio circuits. It provides analog output with 100Ω impedance, a coaxial digital output for transport use, a 12V trigger input, >118dB signal-to-noise ratio, and 0.0035% THD at 1kHz.
