Niimbus
US 5 Pro
The Niimbus US5 Pro is a flagship solid-state desktop headphone amplifier and preamplifier designed by Fried Reim (Lake People/Violectric), built around a completely symmetrical dual-mono circuit with four discrete amplification stages and 60V internal rail voltage for very high current delivery. It uses a 256-step reed-relay volume control for precise, channel-matched attenuation and offers both single-ended and balanced (4-pin XLR, 4.4mm Pentaconn) headphone outputs capable of driving virtually any headphone load ([Violectric official product page](https://www.violectric.de/en/products/headphone-preamps/niimbus-us-5-pro), [Audio46 listing](https://audio46.com/products/niimbus-us-5-pro-headphone-amplifier)).
