The S3 Isolation Base is an HRS audio component isolation platform available in two standard sizes, with black or silver finishes and SF, LF, or G7 footer options. Its 51 lb 1921-size plinth uses seven materials, including a proprietary resonance-control stage, billet-machined aircraft-aluminum trim, alternating layers of high-density fabric-reinforced resin and non-magnetic stainless-steel plates, and a decoupled mass-energy-dissipation core; this construction increases plinth mass by seven pounds. The base has a 3-inch profile and uses a scratch-resistant top surface layer also used on the HRS R3X and E1X Isolation Bases.
