The Sutherland Engineering Dos LOCOS is a dual-mono transimpedance phono preamplifier designed for low-output moving-coil cartridges with less than 20 ohms internal resistance; it is not compatible with moving-magnet or high-output MC cartridges. Its minimalist, all-transimpedance topology uses internally selectable high, medium, or low gain settings and a signal path designed around high-quality components with minimal circuitry. A pair is used for stereo operation, while a single unit is specified for mono cartridges.
