Totaldac d1-CD

Totaldac

d1-CD

Introduced 2024$7,500 MSRP

The d1-CD is Totaldac's first-ever CD transport, designed by founder/CEO Vincent Brient to output an unmodified 100% original Red Book (or hybrid-SACD CD-layer) signal using a CD-Pro8 drive from Austria's SUOS-Hifi; Totaldac is a small French DAC/electronics maker that designs and sells its discrete-converter and transport products directly and through a narrow dealer network, qualifying it as boutique rather than mass-market (Twittering Machines, Highfidelity.pl).
