WA8 Eclipse Headphone Amplifier / DAC
The Woo Audio WA8 Eclipse is a tube headphone amplifier and DAC with single-ended Class-A, SET topology and selectable two- or three-tube operation. It uses 6S31B power tubes, a 6021 driver tube, custom nickel-alloy-core output transformers, and an ESS SABRE DAC supporting up to 24-bit/384kHz PCM and DSD256. The unit includes USB Type-B and 3.5mm analog inputs, 6.3mm and 3.5mm headphone outputs for 8–600Ω loads, and operates from external DC power or a rechargeable lithium-ion battery.
