The KEF Reference 3 Meta is a three-way bass-reflex floorstanding loudspeaker designed, engineered, and handcrafted by KEF in Maidstone, Kent, UK. It uses a 12th-generation Uni-Q driver array with MAT, comprising a 25 mm aluminium-dome HF driver and a 125 mm aluminium-cone MF driver, plus two 165 mm aluminium-cone LF drivers. Its specifications include 43 Hz–35 kHz frequency response (±3 dB), 38 Hz–45 kHz or 35 Hz–45 kHz free-field range depending on port configuration, 86 dB sensitivity, 4 Ω impedance with a 3.2 Ω minimum, 50–300 W amplifier requirements, and crossover frequencies of 450 Hz and 2.1 kHz.
