The Yamaha Soavo-3 is a three-way speaker system in Yamaha’s Soavo Series. It uses Advanced PMD diaphragms for the woofer and midrange, an aluminium dome tweeter with DC-Diaphragm™, edge-wound ribbon-wire voice coils, and neodymium magnets for the midrange and tweeter. Its cabinet features a carved wooden port, non-parallel surfaces, three-way mitered-joint construction, separate woofer and midrange chambers divided by a slanted partition with vertical bracing, a chamfered tweeter baffle, a diecast aluminium tweeter plate, and independent direct crossover connection with ICW capacitors.
