The Ortofon VNL TRIX is a DJ phono cartridge manufactured by Ortofon for professional use, including scratching and back-cueing. It uses a spherical stylus with a 18 μm tip radius, mounted on an aluminium cantilever with Ortofon’s exclusive rubber suspension. Its quad-coil system uses OFC coil wire and provides a 10 mV output, 100 μm tracking ability, 22 dB channel separation, and a recommended tracking force of 4.0 grams.
