The MCD12000 is McIntosh's reference-level 2-channel SACD/CD player and DAC, built around twin ESS SABRE PRO ES9038PRO 32-bit/8-channel DACs run in Octal-Balanced Mono mode (one DAC per channel). It uses McIntosh's Hybrid Drive technology, offering both solid-state and vacuum-tube (12AT7/12AX7A) output stages, and accepts up to seven external digital sources alongside its die-cast aluminum SACD/CD transport.
