The Yamaha A-S501 is an integrated stereo amplifier rated at 85 W per channel from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. It provides digital audio inputs for a TV and Blu-ray Disc player, Pure Direct mode, ToP-ART technology, an input-to-output direct symmetrical design, and continuously variable loudness control. Its construction includes a custom-made power transformer, 12,000 µF block capacitors, extruded aluminum heat sinks, an ART anti-resonance and tough base, gold-plated speaker and RCA terminals, and an aluminum front panel.
