The Yamaha A-S201 is a HiFi integrated amplifier with a rated output of 100 W + 100 W at 8 ohms, 40 Hz–20 kHz, and 0.2% THD. Its circuit uses shortened signal paths, a power transformer positioned near the power-amplifier circuit, and a single-point connection for signal and power-supply grounds; Pure Direct bypasses the bass, treble, balance, and back-buffer amplifier circuits. It includes five input terminals, one MM phono input, A/B speaker selection with screw-type terminals, a headphone output, 0.5 W standby consumption, and dimensions of 435 × 141 × 333 mm at a weight of 6.7 kg.
