The Audeze LCD-R is a high-end planar-style headphone developed in collaboration with Schiit and inspired by the Jotunheim-A current-drive headphone amplifier. It uses a 2-ohm driver employing Audeze’s patented Parallel-Uniforce technology; Audeze refers to the driver as a Ribbon because of its extremely low impedance and over 98% trace coverage of the diaphragm surface.
