The Audeze LCD-3 is an over-ear, open-back planar-magnetic headphone using 106 mm ultra-thin diaphragms, a proprietary stacked magnet array, Fazor phase management, and Neodymium N50 magnets. It has a 110-ohm impedance, 101 dB/1 mW sensitivity, 10 Hz–50 kHz frequency response, less than 0.1% THD at 100 dB, and a 635 g weight. The headphone is designed for use with high-quality vacuum-tube or solid-state headphone or integrated amplifiers and features handcrafted zebrawood rings, premium earpads, and a ventilated suspension headband.
