Inspired by Rega's flagship Naiad, the Planar 8 uses an ultra-lightweight skeletal Tancast 8 foam-core plinth braced with phenolic resin, a triple-layer glass flywheel platter and the RB880 tonearm. It ships with the external Neo PSU for electronic speed change and fine speed adjustment.
