Ground Tail Adapters
Shunyata Research Ground Tail Adapters are short cables that connect to CGC/SGC base cables from the Gamma through Omega-X models via the STIS™ v3 terminal system, tapping the grounds of signal connectors without connecting signal or signal wires. Available versions include RCA, XLR-F, XLR-M, USB-A, USB-B, S/PDIF, BNC, spade, and Ethernet, along with an AC ground adaptor featuring a more conductive ground pin. The adapters use VTX-Ag cable, ArNi® conductors, fluorocarbon dielectric, STIS™ v3 connectors, and a standard length of 4 inches (101 mm); each undergoes continuity, polarity, and 1,200 VAC HiPOT insulation-breakdown testing.
