The Epoch3 is the flagship of Grado's hand-built Lineage Series moving-iron cartridges, housed in a thermally-aged cocobolo wood body and using a patented four-coil Flux-Bridger generator with a sapphire cantilever and diamond stylus (TTVJ Audio). Grado states it achieves the lowest effective moving mass of any cartridge the company has produced, aimed at precise, low-distortion tracking without requiring a step-up transformer (TTVJ Audio).
