The Yamaha YST-SW215 is a discontinued powered subwoofer with a down-firing 8-inch driver, 150-watt amplifier, and 30–200 Hz frequency range. It uses Yamaha Advanced Active Servo Technology with negative-impedance feedback and a Helmholtz resonator, along with QD-Bass technology for down-firing bass radiation. The subwoofer has a thick MDF cabinet, continuously variable 50–150 Hz high-cut filter, dual line-level and speaker-level inputs, signal-sensing power control, and a normal/reverse phase switch.
