Ekos SE

The Linn Ekos SE is a high-end tonearm for Linn LP12 subchassis turntables, with Linn-mount drilling and a supplied clamping base. Its construction uses a titanium arm tube, an aluminum headshell, a stainless-steel bearing block and upper shaft, and aluminum components elsewhere to reduce mass; the 2012 revision includes a redesigned bearing block, heavier headshell and counterweight, and a matte-silver antiskating assembly. Horizontal and vertical bearings use close-tolerance, low-friction assemblies, with direct tracking-force adjustment and adjustable antiskating; listed price was approximately €4,950.
