The Ortofon 2M Mono Premounted is a mono phono cartridge mounted on an Ortofon SH-4 headshell for direct installation on S-shaped tonearms. It is designed for mono microgroove LP records and uses an R 18 µm Nude Spherical diamond stylus. Its strapped output delivers the same signal from both sets of pole pins, enabling mono reproduction through a stereo playback system.
