Designed and built in Denmark, the Essence Stereo is Gryphon's most accessible pure Class-A power amplifier, using a dual-mono, zero-global-feedback architecture with a massive 1350VA toroidal transformer and 440,000µF of capacitance to deliver a full 50 watts per channel of true Class-A power. It was introduced as an entry point into the Gryphon line, described by reviewers as "Gryphon, for non-millionaires" (Hi-Fi+).
