The STAX SR-L300 is an open-air earspeaker made by STAX, using a push-pull electrostatic oval sound element with a thin-film diaphragm and stainless-steel fixed electrodes. It has a 7–41,000 Hz frequency response, 110 pF capacitance including cable, 101 dB sensitivity at 100 V r.m.s. and 1 kHz, and requires a 580 V DC bias. The design includes a stepless slider headband, synthetic-leather earpads, and a 2.5 m OFC parallel six-strand low-capacitance wide cable.
