Schiit Audio
Valhalla 3
Valhalla 3 is a tube headphone amplifier made by Schiit Audio and assembled in San Antonio, Texas, with chassis and transformers made in California and PCBs made in California or Utah. It uses an all-triode, noninverting topology with a 6N1P dual-triode input and 6N6P dual-triode output per channel, output-transformerless (OTL) and DC-coupled-from-the-tube-output (OCL), with no transformer or capacitor between the tubes and headphones. It provides 750 mW RMS per channel into 32 ohms with the impedance multiplier engaged and 250 mW RMS per channel into 300 ohms without it, and includes analog-computer-style DC protection, low/high gain with feedback, and a no-feedback mode.
