Edge A
The Cambridge Audio Edge A is a flagship integrated amplifier from the Edge series, celebrating Cambridge Audio's 50th anniversary in 2018, built with Cambridge's Class XA topology that biases the output stage to behave like Class A near typical listening levels while retaining Class AB efficiency at higher power. It combines a substantial toroidal-transformer power supply with a built-in ESS Sabre DAC, aiming for minimal internal circuitry and short signal paths inside its distinctive cylindrical-cap chassis.
