Ortofon Test Record is a test LP made by Ortofon for evaluating cartridge performance and its interaction with a tonearm and turntable. It contains 15 tracks, including left- and right-channel logarithmic frequency sweeps from 800 Hz to 50 kHz, with a linear-cut range of 800–20,000 Hz within ±1.5 dB, plus 1,000 Hz reference tones at 5 cm/sec RMS for the left and right channels. The record is intended for playback through a system with built-in RIAA equalization and is described as a fine pressing.
