The lab12 melto1 is a tube MC/MM phono preamplifier for stereo RCA line-level input and output, with 41 dB MM gain and 66 dB MC gain. It provides adjustable cartridge type, input impedance from 32 ohms to 100 kOhm, input capacitance from 0–300 pF, and RIAA de-emphasis, using 2× 6N1P-EV and 2× 6N2P-EV dual-triode tubes. The design includes a toroidal power transformer, no-feedback circuitry, SRSG® and Fine symmetry® topologies, separate grounding paths, and a 5 mm aluminum face panel.
