The Grado GS1000x is an open-air, dynamic over-ear headphone in Grado’s Statement Series, featuring hybrid housings with a Mahogany outer shell and Ipe inner chamber. Its 50 mm fourth-generation drivers use a reconfigured diaphragm, more powerful magnetic circuitry, and a reduced-effective-mass voice coil, paired with a 12-conductor super-annealed copper, nylon-braided cable. It has an 8–35 kHz frequency response, 98 dB SPL at 1 mW, 32-ohm impedance, and 0.05 dB driver matching, with a fully adjustable black leather headband and G cushions.
