VFS / CLASSIC VFS
The Nagra VFS and CLASSIC VFS are two-layer vibration-isolation supports made by Nagra for audio equipment, using two solid aluminum plates with different damping cushions to absorb mechanical frequencies. The standard VFS has top and bottom plates measuring 27.7 × 22.7 cm and 28.6 × 23.7 cm, a total height of 2.1 cm, and a weight of 2.5 kg; the CLASSIC VFS has 33.8 × 27.7 cm and 34.8 × 28.7 cm plates, the same height, and a weight of 4 kg, and is intended for deeper chassis including the HD DAC, CLASSIC DAC, TUBE DAC, CLASSIC PREAMP, CLASSIC AMP, CLASSIC INT, and CLASSIC PSU. Each unit includes three ARCAp copper-nickel-zinc alloy spikes or feet with Delrin resin tips.
