Monarch MKIV

The THIEAUDIO Monarch MKIV is a hybrid in-ear monitor featuring two 8 mm dynamic drivers in an isobaric IMPACT2 subwoofer configuration, six Sonion balanced-armature drivers, and two electrostatic tweeters. Its passive four-way crossover uses nine independent components, four sound tubes, an impedance-grounding network, and dedicated EST targeting from 10–40 kHz; a physical switch selects STANDARD or RUMBLE tuning, with RUMBLE increasing the sub-bass shelf from 10 dB to 13 dB. The monitor is rated for 10 Hz–44 kHz frequency response, 10/9 ohms (±1 ohm) impedance at 1 kHz, 100 dB ±1 dB sensitivity at 1 kHz, and less than 1% THD at 1 kHz, and includes a modular Chocolate cable with 4.4 mm balanced and 3.5 mm unbalanced terminations.
