Discovery Warp 1
The LSA Discovery Warp 1 is a stereo Class D power amplifier rated at 150 W per channel into 8 ohms and 250 W per channel into 4 ohms. Its topology centers on a Texas Instruments TPA3255 PurePath amplifier device, supported by a custom 600 W switch-mode power supply and an input buffer using a TI OPA1656 op amp. Balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs are provided, with selectable buffer gain settings of 0, 6, 14, or 20 dB; the amplifier’s factory gain is 22 dB. The unit measures 14 inches wide by 10 inches deep by 3 inches high and includes two pairs of speaker binding posts.
