The Perlisten Audio R8s is an ultra-compact, single-driver subwoofer with an acoustic-suspension alignment and a 500 W RMS amplifier. Its 215 mm driver uses a glass-fiber diaphragm with ±28.0 mm linear excursion, multiple aluminum shorting rings, a multi-layer Nomex spider, a lightweight aluminum voice-coil wire, and a ground-up design developed by Perlisten engineers. Control and signal processing include a 48-bit data-path DSP, 32-bit ARM Cortex M4 processor, 2.4-inch LCD color touchscreen, iOS and Android app support, balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs, and 10-band parametric EQ with three user presets.
