Bang & Olufsen's BeoLab 90 is the Danish brand's flagship active loudspeaker, a remote-controlled, DSP-driven, 18-driver floorstanding system that uses beamforming ("Beam Width Control" and "Beam Direction Control") and Active Room Compensation to tailor its dispersion pattern and correct for room acoustics. Each speaker is a self-contained system with 14 channels of ICEpower amplification and 4 channels of Heliox Class D amplification, driven by dual Analog Devices DSP chips, delivering a claimed 8,200 watts of total power per speaker.
