Yamaha
CD-S303
The Yamaha CD-S303 is a CD player supporting audio CDs, CD-R/RW discs, and USB playback of MP3, WMA, LPCM, AAC, and FLAC files. It uses a 192 kHz/24-bit D/A converter, an Intelligent Digital Servo with DSP-based tracking, focus, and spindle-speed control, and a laser pickup isolated by a floating mechanism. Its circuitry separates the motor-drive, display, USB, digital, and analog power supplies; the design also includes short signal paths, a centered drive mechanism, a high-grade acoustic capacitor, a low-noise high-gain-bandwidth op amp, and transformer and signal-cable damping material.
