Amp Box S3
The Pro-Ject Amp Box S3 is a compact stereo power amplifier made by Pro-Ject Audio Systems with one stereo RCA input, delivering 2 × 23 W into 8 ohms or 2 × 40 W into 4 ohms. It uses a newly developed PCB concept, a revised topology, and a further-developed amplifier module; total harmonic distortion is under 0.02% at 10 W/4 ohms, signal-to-noise ratio is 87 dBV at 4 ohms, and gain is 31 dB. Made in Europe, the unit has an aluminium housing to shield against interference, 12 V trigger inputs and outputs, and dimensions of 103 × 36 × 118 mm.
