Matrix Audio
Element X2
The Matrix Audio Element X2 is the second-generation version of Matrix's flagship all-in-one streamer, combining a network streaming transport, an ESS ES9038PRO DAC, an analog preamplifier stage, and a high-power balanced headphone amplifier in one compact chassis, with HDMI ARC and analog inputs added over the original Element X (Audio Science Review; Moon Audio). Hifi Pig called it "a jack of all trades" that "masters each one too" (Hifi Pig).
