Cambridge Audio
Evo CD
Introduced 2023$1,199 MSRP
The Evo CD is a dedicated CD transport built as a companion to Cambridge Audio's Evo 75 and Evo 150 all-in-one streaming amplifiers, using a custom S5 Servo drive mechanism inside an anodized-aluminum, acoustically damped chassis. It has no standalone digital output of its own — audio and control pass over a proprietary connection to the paired Evo amplifier, which handles DAC duties, so it is only compatible with the Evo 75/150 ecosystem rather than functioning as a universal transport.
