The Yamaha R Series (AD/DA), 2nd-generation, consists of the Rio3224-D2 and Rio1608-D2 Dante audio I/O units, with balanced XLR analog inputs and outputs, 24-bit or 32-bit Dante audio over 1000Base-T, and etherCON Cat5e connectors. The Rio3224-D2 provides 32 Dante channels to other devices and 24 channels from other devices, 32 analog inputs, 16 analog outputs, and eight AES/EBU outputs; the Rio1608-D2 provides 16 Dante channels to other devices and eight channels from other devices, with 16 analog inputs and eight analog outputs. Both support 44.1, 48, 88.2, and 96 kHz sampling, while their analog input connectors receive software-controlled +48 V phantom power.
