Focal
PS 165 FXE
The Focal PS 165 FXE is a bi-amplifiable loudspeaker kit with a Flax diaphragm woofer, TAM tweeters, and a compact pre-wired audiophile crossover. Its woofer uses a patented sandwich cone made from French flax fiber between two fiberglass sheets, while the TAM tweeters use aluminum/magnesium inverted domes with an “M” profile and a decompression chamber. The system includes TMD (Tuned Mass Damper) suspension technology with toroidal weights and can use separate amplifiers for bass and treble.
