The INSPIRATION HYBRID (halogen free)

The INSPIRATION HYBRID (halogen free) is a twin-lead loudspeaker cable made by Van den Hul B.V., designed for standard, bi-wiring, bi-amping, or interconnect use. It uses four star-quad-configured signal lines surrounding a separate central ground lead, with a heavy braided screen for radio-frequency interference protection; the screen is intended to be grounded at the amplifier end and left disconnected at the loudspeaker end. Pairwise combined, the signal lines provide a total cross-sectional area of 2 × 3.94 mm² and resistance of 2 × 1.4 Ω/100 m; used separately, they provide 4 × 1.97 mm² and 4 × 2.8 Ω/100 m, with conductors embedded in a Linear Structured Carbon® layer and jacket and insulation made from HULLIFLEX® 4.
