The Ortofon 2M 78 Verso is a mono phono cartridge designed for playback of 78 rpm shellac records and for bottom-mount headshells. It uses a spherical diamond stylus tip and a strapped output that delivers the same signal from both sets of pole pins, enabling mono reproduction through stereo playback equipment.
