The HQS 7001 is a reference monoblock power amplifier from French manufacturer JMF Audio, a company with roots in professional audio dating to 1988, positioned just below the flagship HQS 9001 in the brand's HQS amplifier line. It is entirely hand-built in a machined, Orose-anodized aluminum enclosure with rose-gold engraved controls, using a fully DC-coupled LDA (linear direct amplification) topology, proprietary PGP gold-plated circuit boards, and bespoke toroidal transformers, and was a 2024 Golden Ear award winner from The Absolute Sound.
