Acoustic Sciences Corporation (ASC)
IsoDeck
The ASC IsoDeck is a floating floor-deck isolation system manufactured by Acoustic Sciences Corporation. It uses a high-density woven 1-inch felt strip as a slot-loaded spring, lightly glued into a 3/4 × 3/16-inch rabbeted groove in the bottom of each joist. The joist tops are covered with WallDamp damping polymer, while two subfloor layers rest on the joists with WallDamp squares between them to provide floor isolation and vibrational damping.
