Bass expansion unit

The ARC Audio BXM is a two-channel RCA bass frequency extension module using BX2 missing-fundamental technology to generate harmonics that simulate frequencies below a speaker’s low-frequency cutoff. It extends perceived frequency response by up to 1.5 octaves below the speaker’s f3 cutoff without perceived distortion, increased peak power consumption, or increased peak speaker excursion. The BXM provides 1.8 V RMS output for driving most amplifiers and can accept BTL-style speaker output from a stock source unit without power, ground, or remote-turn-on leads.
